Once when I was younger, MY grandma was visiting us for a few days. I (a child) wanted to know how long she was going to stay.(I loved when grandma visited and never wanted her to leave but I knew she would and found that knowing how long she would be staying better than not knowing) So I asked her "When will you leave?" she understandably thought that I wanted her to leave and was sad. I tried to explain myself but as a child choosing the right words is difficult and I know I didn't do a good job. I still think about this interaction and wish I could go back in time to fix it because I probably hurt her feelings.
